Week todate...

Hard to believe Next month i will be all the way in Cali, Well to start out i just like to say last week kicked my ass working 9 days strait WOW and every day wed, i did everything from Host, to busser to Baristo, all the way to Server working all in 3 hours of work!!! Thursday not that bad i just baristoed and then just chilled, Friday don't even remember what i did all i can say i just blacked out till Saturday and that too kicked my ass along with Sunday and Monday, as i literally bussed my ass off when every one just started coming till i left, how ever i got a break on yesterday on Tuesday night when i just Checked in to Host on what i considered to be a day that i need no explanation on why i showed up since it was dead like a grave yard with only 45% of our rooms checked in... any ways that is the week in a nut shell and next month i will be in Cali, so hit me up befor then and we should hang but now back to my Rules...
this week i like to talk about... UMMMM...
Hoh.. How about...Regulars:

If you are a regular at a place never allow your self to feel entitled. clearly this is really hard to do but i know that it is also possible so just don't get a swelled head when the servers at a place know you by name and don't act like you are more important then the other ppl b/c you know you aren't.

To be even considered a regular you must patronize an establishment at
least once or twice a month. i.e. come in on a regulare bases and not just once every blue moon... b/c then you are just another client on our books...

It is all about relationships, you hold with the servers and bussers, so if you are on good terms with every one at the hotel then you are welcome back any time, i especially like to take note on one example as i will only refer to them, as the Ts this couple have been coming to the Hotel for just as long as it has been open for 23 years and have be regulars through out the time that i have worked therefor for the last 3 years and i feel that they are the perfect example of what a regular should be, as they behave well as they sit and also prove to be worthy of our service and also considered as our testers for new servers as in if they don't like you as a server then you are not meant to be a server at the hotel but as far as I've seen over the time I've been there they have liked every one but one of there servers and that person is no longer with he hotel...

Spread the word about the restaurant. also on the topic of the Ts they have been the leading for front of regulars by telling all there friend from the local Rotary and family about the fine service they have experienced at the hotel. and this is greatly appreciated from them... so if you want to be considered a regular please help the business out by spreading the word like the Ts

please don't ask for hand outs. i know that i this is a hard one understand but regulars don't ask for freebies in fact regulars normally have an understanding if something goes wrong with their food they will just wait it out and ask for it to be fix with out question and we as servers or F.A. will be more then happy to oblige to it.

Feel free to ask for your favorite server if they are working. also regulars can feel free to ask for there favorite server but if the server is off they don't complain but instead just wait patiently knowing who ever will be serving then will be just as good if not better... and that is all i can say about regulars.
