Old PPL And Children...

Ok so i have nothing against old ppl but some time i ask my self "why?" as in "why do we allow Old ppl to get away with so much shit?" i know you guys are old but really complaining about every little thing, and then acting crazy that just don't make much sence, now does it? i don't think so... now i don't have any actual tips to deal with or how Old ppl should behave in a dinning room but i feel that if you are too old to relize what you are doing or are too old to read the writing on the menu just ask nicly and i will be mor then happy to help but only if you ask polity and are not a jerk about it... also i might also suggest tip more then $1 it isn't the 1900's any more a $1 is worth less then the Duckies in Canada... so learn to tip at least 10-15% for the server also i like to hear more of your war stories but not at work so if you got stories wait to tell them at a WWII Memorial function and don't go on your Rants about how young ppl don't know how hard you had it when you were a Kid b/c i get it you had it ruff w/o, "TV, Computer and God forgive the Internet?" ok... since yeah i get it we have technology now to make life a lot easier but so do you now... so get with it and shut it... but some of us feel that we are a voice of a lost generation since ppl choose not to listen to us b/c they think we are spoiled for the Tech we have. and as for acting like the world ows you something b/c you lived so long, that is just B.S. since it was the world that let you live so long and let the younger genertions die out... so congratulations you out lived a young child who probably didn't get a chance to go to 1st grade... since only the good die young and if that is the case then old ppl are truly the most evil of evils but i don't mean to sound cynical or pessimistic but that is how the saying goes... so if you are old don't expect much since you already had a chance to live life so i feel that young ppl should respect you but not care about you...
now i know i may sound heartless for saying all this but i am just saying what everyone thinks...

as for children there are some places i feel they should never be aloud untill the age of... oh i don't know maybe 6 or 7...

and i do have tips on this one for MOM and DAD:


Leave the children at home if at all possible. let me paint you a picture...
Mom and Dad have baby, mom and dad want romantic night out, mom and dad bring baby with them to nice busy restaurant, baby cries entire time at said restaurant, everyone at restaurant stairs and snickers at Mom and dad (including wait staff), Mom and dad get up abruptly and leave, Night disaster b/c mom and dad didn't leave Baby Jr at home with a "Babysitter" so now mom and dad can never show there face at nice restaurant... :) now how did you live this vivid picture i drew mom and dad...

If you must bring your kids, please keep them quiet and out of the
server's way. How ever there are some moments when mom and dad can't get a babysitter so they have to bring Jr with them and if this is the case then this is what you do...
1. Keep Jr quiet as the dead... b/c no one want to hear your Baby cry and wind...
2. Keep Jr out of the way of the servers as in don't i repeat don't let Jr run around the dining room as if he/ she is on fire unless you want your Kid to be stomped on b/c as food servers we are constantly moving in and out and all around that we don't have time to keep and eye out for your Kid and might bump into it and spill all our hot food on Jr...
3. also clean up after after Jr... since your baby throws his/ her food on the floor don't allow your kid to think it is okay to be a douche at that age...teach them how to behave in public... the key word is, "Manners!!!" besides if you don't tip well and you leave a big mess for the bussers and servers to clean up we will make a note of it and next time we will give you the worst service you can imagine...n and that is a promise!!!
4. tip extremely well, since we as a service staff had to put up with your crying child you can at least Tip 20-25%

well that is all i can think of right now in regards to age in the Industry... hope some of you moms and dads enjoyed reading and you elderly hope you live alonger life then me...hahaha...
