okay, so after the events of mother's day i just got to say, WTF? yesterday was the longest holiday i Have ever worked and it was also the most dysfunctional day i have ever worked... Let me elaborate... my day started At 10 am Sharp at the hotel, and that is when our first tables started to arive and we still hade tables to set and where already our of silverware and water glasses and all we had was a shit load of napkins, and our host who i considered to be very useless since they just sat people and started barking at me which tables "THEY NEEDED DONE" instead of helping out with the flip... if not Barking then just pointing to a Set table dumbly muttering something about setting it? which it already was!!! on top of this retarded move on the HOst the PHone was ringing none stop to add reservations, so my tip for that is IF you are gooing to procrastinate and not plan any thing for mom ahead of time, then just stay home... because trying to get a table on the day of any holiday, with out an advance reservation is near right impossible so don't even try... It aint Happening!!! i'm not saying it was a bad day but it was, if any one who works in the industry on this day would know that brunches are the worst to work on Holiday since you deal with the worst of the worst in yuppies... i got this story of all sorts that include the jealous mom who stiffed one the servers and got her whole bill voided after the transaction just by bringing her husbands card in and demanding it to be done...which by the way even though we can transfer refunds on our sistem , we by law are not aloud to do it unless the "ACTUAL" Card holder gives "HIS" Consent and singes the voided check to note it was done... Did i mention how much i hate this Fucking Holiday... Don't get me wrong I Love my Mom and think that i should appreciate her more however i don't think giving mom her own holiday so she can act like a bitch to complete strangers trying to make it a very memorable day for her is a good idea!!! and if my mom ever acted like that in a restaurant i would probly walk put since how these people treat servers and People like me on these days pretty much puts bad light on me and what i as a representative of the F&B industry... also the fact that i was reasantly Bitched out over the Phone by some "WOMAN" because i told her the only opening we had was around 2...

Me: Yes, a buffet!(Smile)
Bitch: Then What is it?
Me: Um.? A buffet?
Bitch: OH! Really do we need reservations!?
Me: It would be good to have reservations, to insure you a spot!
Bitch: Well then i like a reservation!
me: Okay, hold on, one sec. let me check when we have an opening?
Bitch: Fine!!! ga..
Me: OKay, Ma'am, the only opening are around 2 other then that, we are booked solid!
Bitch: WHAT!? How can this Be? " DO you KNow who I am?" and yes she actually said that!!! over the phone! lol
me: I'm sorry, Ms. but that is all i have...
Bitch: that is unacceptable!!!
Me: I'm Sorry!!!
Bitch: NO you aren't, Bye!!!
Me: Okay, Bye!!!
Hang up!!!
Me: (Mumble): BItch!!!
Okay maybe next time you'll won't wait till day of to make reservations on one of the most busiest days in the industry!!! and i can see why her kids didn't plans shit for her.. and you know what bitch you are right i aint sorry for that, it isn't because you are a Bitch! but because you acted like one over the phone as if you arde self entitled over it...who does that/ really? WTF? any ways after all the craziness the place finally died and all i had to do was reset everything with the help of my friend Kat and some of the servers... thank God for them... and also take a break and eat leftover food from the buffet... loved it... till i got a txt from my sis who said my mom walked out... again WTF? but that situation was cleared up and everything when back to normal and i just chilled at work till 7 then left to take my mom out for dinner at famous Dave's for the best BBQ IN Town besides at my house...lol anyways my family enjoyed a nice BBQ Platter for dinner and went home and rested then my dad and i went to watch Star trek!!! I HAve to say wasd a very grand Movie and made me want to join the Starfleet Federation!!! How geeky am i?
anyways that is how my mother's day went!!!
